Crafty.

August 17th, 2003

On my last day of holiday I had grand plans, but all I did was go on a wild goose chase for furniture legs and make jewellery. Descriptions in the alt tags.

Greeny grey floss, stainless steel wire and red glass beads.    Twisted copper wire, polished quartz bead and polished oyster shell.

Greeny blue floss, copper wire and red glass beads.     Camel floss, polished alabaster beads, copper wire.

When I was making supper tonight I did something really stupid. I had a bag set up for trimmings and vegetable ends for the compost. I was chopping an onion, so I put the peel in the bag, and then chopped the onion, picked it up in my hand, and instead of putting it in the pan, for some reason I put it in the compost bag. Then I wondered what had happened to the onion. It wasn't until I was chopping another onion that I realised what I had done. Duh.

Chris is watching Mr. Nanny right now, Hulk Hogan's finest oeuvre since Suburban Commando. I don't know why Chris is watching it, because the dialogue is making my brain hurt. Now he's switched to Urban Legends: Final Cut. Did you all know that "Alpine University" is actually where I did my undergrad, where I was on the varsity fencing team, and where I met my husband Chris? No? It is! It's Trent University. Now you know. Still means that movie is shit though. A fencing-mask wearing villain? On what planet is that scary?

(All links go through Amazon.ca because of the affiliate program with The Usual Suspects. I spend so much time on there, that this is the least I can do.)
