Eyes.

Just back from my annual eye appointment. I have scary vampire eyes right now.
1. Left eye has gotten much worse. Right eye is about the same as last time.
2. My lazy right eye is acting up a little but the eye doctor said “no one would really notice it turning in”.
3. I got a new test done today to measure the thickness of my corneas and they are quite thin. Normal is about 520 microns and mine are 465 and 470 microns which means I have a higher risk for glaucoma. He poked my corneas with a probe. It was odd.
4. I have to go back and get some other test where they count the nerve fibres in my optic nerve.
5. I still have a 1 in 5 chance of having a retinal detachment. Go genetics!
But…new glasses soon! Exciting! I narrowed down my choices to two, and I will go back with Chris and see which ones he likes.
The woman there picked out the exact frames I have and said “Oh! these would look great!” – heh, it’s nice to have independent evidence that you have good taste!
So bye bye Gucci frames, I loved you for two years but I am ready for a change!
