Excuse me while I mow down my breakfast before class. I have to run and teach two labs this morning and I am sorely undercaffeinated and hungry.
Back from teaching. What news the past week? Well, we put in an offer on the new house on Saturday and spent the whole weekend painting and finishing renovation projects and decluttering and cleaning. It was a Weekend From Hell, that is to be sure. Sunday morning we were lying in bed at 6am, exhausted and dreading the start to the day. We got it all done though and listed our house on Monday and had an accepted offer about 20 minutes after the sign went out. So we must have done something right.
Now it’s just the waiting game to see when conditions come off etc. So that’s exciting but we are trying not to be too excited in case things fall through.
Other than that, I am boring as all hell lately. House stuff or work are about the only two things going on.
