Meh.

Didn’t mean to be away so long. I got a bad cold on the 10th and then was swamped briefly with work.
Here’s a picture from the day of the cold. What this doesn’t show you is that I am completely stoned on cold medicine. Enough so that colleagues of mine were asking what was wrong. Apparently the muscles of my face tense or relax in weird ways so I didn’t look right. Maybe the vacant stare clued them in as well!
It was hard that day – I had my first Paleopathology class and the lecture I gave I am sure was not optimal. Add to that a very attractive monotonous croak as the only voice I was able to utter and I am sure it was a good time all around.
I feel better today, if crushed with work and teaching. Paleo this week on Wed. was much better. I am really enjoying this class.
Today I have plagiarism documentation, and I must clean my office. Meeting with a couple students, and 3 hours of lab teaching. All in all a day to just get through. Then I am free for the weekend. Mmm.
