Some things.

These are just some random snippets of things:
I drove to work today because I had to swing by the post office depot to get some parcels I had ordered. In the space of about 5 minutes, it went from barely even snowing to full-on slick roads and almost no visibility. It was kind of exciting, and it made it even nicer to get home.
I never used to be able to play games with other people when I was younger. I had a huge competitive streak and I could not stand losing. If you looked in a dictionary under “Sore Loser” then you would see my picture and description. I don’t know what happened (maybe just growing up!) but now I don’t mind losing at some things. It all depends on who I am playing/sparring/competing with though. I was thinking to myself the other day that I was really kind of impressed with myself because I feel like James shellacs me at Magic regularly, and I don’t mind losing at all. It’s fun to win, but losing well is almost as good. Then we tallied things up and it turns out I have won the last 4 out of 5 games we have played. Oops.
Right now, I am sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall in the basement. Chris is playing World of Warcraft on his computer, and Chief is over playing Battlefield 2 on my computer, so I am on the old laptop again. The other day we had J over playing Warcraft with Chris, using the spare network cable. That was pretty geeky in here to say the least.
Today I walked to Blackburn Hall, as I had to drop the ANTH 100 exam off to be printed. It was a nice walk, although I have noticed that even fewer of the staircases have been shovelled this year. It’s kind of funny for a campus that is so full of stairs that they only do the bare minimum when it comes to shovelling. It’s pretty dangerous, actually. An amusing part to the walk was passing by the Athletics Complex and seeing a horde of students lined up like cattle, waiting to be let in to take an exam. I don’t miss those days one bit.
